Hello fellas. Today I bring you another transcription website review, Scribie.
Scribie is another transcription website for freelance transcribers, and trust me, many freelancers are making a lot of money from this website. It is one of the easiest to join.

Scribie offers transcription services for both freelancers and companies. Companies pay and upload their audio files, recordings, speeches, interviews, discussions, YouTube videos, podcasts, sermons, lectures, conference calls, etc to the scribie website, and these audios are given to transcribers to transcribe.

Transcription jobs nowadays are no longer focussed on a particular country or region, but worldwide. You will only find a few transcription websites that employ only from a particular region.

One thing about transcription jobs is that, you do not need to move from place to place. You only need your PC and an internet connection, as well as a headset for a clearer hearing of audio/video files.

Scribie offers transcription jobs to freelancers all over the globe, but as usual, they will have to take a test and pass before they can be accepted into the platform.

Clients
Scribie charges their clients who upload audio files for transcription at a flexible rate. There are two methods in which they charge clients, automated method and manual method.

The automated method involves the use of their A.I systems for transcriptions and they charge their clients $0.10 per minute audio of which they say it is a 30 minutes turn around and 80% to 95% accuracy.

The manual method involves the use of freelance transcribers to transcribe audio files for clients and they charge clients $0.80 per minute audio which they say is a 36 hours turn around with 99% accuracy. Scribie is quite easy to use for clients.

Freelancers
Scribie accepts both beginner and professional transcribers all over the globe. They allow you to work at any time and any day that is convenient for you. They pay weekly and they do not have any minimum requirements before withdrawal.

How much can you earn?
Scribie pays transcribers around $0.20 per minute audio. They pay only if the transcript has a good rating.

Before transcribers can start working on the platform, they must have a verified PayPal account which they can use to receive payments. Scribie sets up a verification box where transcribers have to verify if their PayPal account is verified or nor before proceeding to the registration page.

So, if your PayPal account is not verified, login to your account, link a bank account or a card, and then verify the account and then come back to scribie and verify. To signup, click here.

QA-World Review with payment proofs 2020

In my previous posts, I reviewed GoTranscript and TranscibeMe. Honestly, getting the approval of these websites can be a little bit difficult for an average English speaker.
Did you try it out and was accepted? Let us know in the comment box below.

Well, if you did try them and was not accepted, all hope is not lost as I bring you another transcription website today that will accept you in a few minutes after registration.

QA-World is another transcription website for transcribers worldwide. They hire freelancers who are into transcription. The interesting part of it is that, even if you're just entering the world of transcription, you'll still get accepted as you are not only working for them but also learning and improving your grammar and transcription skills.

The kind of transcription done in QA-World is somewhat different from other transcription websites. Transcribers transcribe recorded call conversations between customers and representatives of the companies working with QA-World.

As usual, in the course of registration, you are also required to take their test just like any other transcription website, but it is really simple when compared to other transcription websites. You have the chance of retaking the test several times until you pass.

Why you should join
  • Easy to pass the test
  • Work from home and whenever you want
  • No minimum withdrawal
  • Weekly payment of whatever you earn
  • No withdrawal charges
  • 24hrs support for transcribers in their slack community
  • Develops your English grammar and transcription skills (especially for beginners)
How much can you earn?
QA-World pays transcribers up to $0.20 per minute audio call they transcribe. So in other to earn more from this platform, you may have to transcribe many calls.

There's also another team in the platform that goes through every submitted transcript to make sure it's in order with their guidelines before being sent back to their clients. You are also rated for your transcript which increases your level in the platform if you get a 5-star rating.

There's also a $2 bonus if you transcribe up to 100 minutes total call in a week if they're all rated 4 or 5. In addition to that, QA-World also displays the top 5 transcribers of every week in the following week which makes it even more fun.

Freelancer website review

Disclaimer: Some links in this post may contain affiliate links. Please read our disclaimer for more info.

Freelancer is one of the best websites for freelancers who are looking for freelance jobs all over the world. It is also one of the most popular freelance websites and has been in existence for a very long time.

Freelancer is not just for freelancers only, but also for so many other companies and individuals who want to offer freelance jobs called "projects" to freelancers.

These companies offer jobs such as data entry, logo designs, website design, transcription, captions, etc. They also hire writers to write articles for their blogs, projects, etc.

There's a limited time for freelancers to bid on a project. A project could be open for bids up to 7 days and when those days are exhausted, the project is closed and a freelancer is chosen to work on it.

Apart from just bidding on projects, freelancer also combines something else to its platform known as "contests".

Freelancers
Freelancers all over the world can join this platform and work to earn some money. They can bid on any project they like such as logo designs, data entries, article writings, etc.

Freelancers can also take part in contests like logo contests and win if the contest holder chooses him/her.

I must also say that getting a project to work on in this platform can be easy, but can also be very difficult especially for new freelancers who join the platform.

For a freelancer to easily get chosen for projects, he/she will have to increase the level or rank of their profile by either upgrading their membership or verifying their profile details such as email, driver's license, ID, payment methods, etc.

Without doing such, it can be very difficult to get chosen to work on a project as most companies look at freelancers profiles before giving them their projects to work on.

How much can I earn?
Well, the answer to this question depends on your capabilities as a freelancer. Freelancers with complete, accurate, and verified profiles are the ones companies and individuals tend to give their projects more often except for contests.

As a freelancer working in this platform, you can earn from $50 to $20,000 or even more on a single project, and $3 to $1,000 on a single contest. To signup, click here.

Payment methods
(Bank) Express Withdrawal
(Bank) Wire Transfer: minimum of $500 USD
PayPal: requires PayPal verification
Skrill: does not support USD
Freelancer Debit Card

Please note that the availability of these payment methods depends on your country.
